Every time I see one of these I forget that they actually come from the factory this way. Did a designer and marketer look at the Nissan Murano crosscabriolet, and be like....”we gotta get in on this hot sales action?”

I prefer my convertibles

The OG Land Rover convertible!

That is the coolest vehicle on Nantucket. Forget the poseurs with their Range Rovers and their overlapping oversand stickers to show how long they’ve been there. That Rover is cooler.

This is the right way to do it.

Friend of mine works at a JLR dealership and took one home over the weekend a while ago. Unfortunately, he’s also a bit of a hobby DJ and couldn’t even get the boxes with his beloved vinyl into this abomination. He had to call a friend to get a ride for his records. Way to look cool!

Hey, rich coeds and cloned Stepfords need cars too.

It has one incredible advantage over the Nissan: it’s not a Nissan.

And I thought the hardtops were awful...

I like them. I mean people complain that car companies are not doing exciting or fun cars anymore, but at least some are trying.

I actually kind of like this. For starters, it looks a *lot* cleaner and more cohesive than the Murano CrossCabriolet. I don’t know that I would want to own one as a daily driver, given the large blind spots with the top up, but I can see the appeal as a second or third vehicle for fair-weather light off-roading.

Light off roading.....hahahhahahah. If please please....that was good! Oh wait. Were you serious?

I don’t know what your deal is. But yes, I would drive a Range Rover Evoque Convertible on dirt roads and across rolling pasturelands.

Shhhh, it does have overlapping stickers.
But they are well worn from hitting things.

I took my S40 over sand this past summer. It handled it like a champ. I’m suprised I haven’t seen an Evoque cabriolet over sand yet.

I’ve had my E46 on sand. It was... ok. I had to apply a little bit of, “when in doubt flat out” but I got around fine.

probably the coolest land rover tbh.
